The ideal candidate for this position will not only possess an experienced approach to design/development, but will also mesh seamlessly with the rest of our tightly-knit marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Point2 marketing team to help identify and design cutting-edge web solutions for our entire online presence. You will use these solutions to craft a cohesive visual identity for our entire catalog of products, including websites, online marketing materials and advertising campaign elements. You will also work closely with many other business units within Point2 in order to help grow and maintain our various brands online and offline.

Your skills include:
•    Extensive experience developing consumer and/or commercial websites
•    Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript
•    Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator
•    Ability to design, code, and troubleshoot for all major browsers
•    Knowledge of online marketing strategies, relationship building and generating brand awareness is an asset
•    Awareness of the latest design & development trends and technologies
•    Experience working into a highly-collaborative team environment
•    A Bachelor’s Degree or certificate in web/graphic design or equivalent is preferred but not required

 Requirements:

4+ years of experience working with technologies such as SQL and Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), API usage and design, SOA architecture, and design patterns.  The ideal candidate will increase the energy level of anybody around them through their passion and desire to be productive and efficient.  A background in C#, .Net and MVC frameworks is also required.  Despite the requirement for experience with any of the previously listed technologies, we are looking for an applicant who is flexible and will gladly learn any new language/skills required when they are chosen as the best tool for the job.
